My name is John Le, P.E., and I’m a licensed structural engineer with 18 years of experience in heavy industrial projects. I started Betong Foundation Repair to bring true engineering discipline into an industry that’s often dominated by guesswork. (“Bê tông” means concrete in 56 languages, by the way.)
The idea behind Betong came from a personal challenge: my own home was experiencing foundation problems. I reached out to multiple companies, but each gave me a different explanation—and the quotes were all over the place. As an engineer, none of it made sense. And as a homeowner, I simply couldn’t afford the prices they were quoting.
So I decided to fix it myself. With my father, who is in his 70s, we began digging and experimenting with innovative approaches based on engineering principles. That work led us to file 1 patent and begin the process of filing 2 more. Each innovation focuses on preserving structural integrity while making the work more efficient and reliable.
